Rinatnt2.gif (80046 bytes) Introduction
Perhaps best known for a stellar line of mainboards, Asus has demonstrated the wherewithal to produce a solid line of add-on cards as well. Their V3400 TNT line showed amazing depth and usability. Now,
powered by nVidia's latest chip, the RIVA TNT2, the ASUS AGP V-3800, one of the first cards based on this chip to appear on the market, is showing all the same user-friendly design and utility of it's little brother.

Asus V3800-TVR

We chose to review the V3800-TVR as it was one of the few TNT2 cards available at time of purchase.  The retail version offers a great software bundle including Turok 2 and XtremeG2 both of which really show off the power and speed of the TNT2 chip.  Along with the drivers Asus included their Live 3800 Video Capture utility and the Asus Tweaking utility for those of us who like to push performance to it's very limits.
