greg said: i hate this motherboard now cause the damn usb don't work at all on it. now my usb cam I just baught wasted my money on. I blew my first board cause I inserted some 66mhz ram and the board was set to 100mhz memory. Even though I set the board correctl

Ferenci Tamás said: It's a little bit obsolote motherboard, but generally a good one. Not the dream of the overclockers, but extremly easy to install. Unfortunately the documentation is not the best.

Rick Augier said: AGP is only running at X 1 --- Would like to run it at X 2, (Matrox Millenium G200). Was unable to overclock it to 500 (5 x 100 ) tried it at CPU core V=2.7 -- it did no finish booing and was unstable at (4.5 x 95 ) At 450 was OK although extra cooling w

Comment: This is the most stable super 7 mobo I've ever used. I have my k6-2 450 overclocked to 504 (112x4.5) for 7 months now I'm also using a very nice CoolerMaster fan I found out about both of them on this site

Comment: This must be the best socket-7 mobo I ever had. 400Mhz overclocked to 450Mhz and all the rest stays, I got 1301 mark for the 3DMark2000 benchmark result. But seems to have a little problem with PCI Bus Hogging issue especially on my SB16 Value PnP OEM. That seems to be effecting the functionality of my gamepad even though the sound problem is reduce after a few registry tweaks. Anyway, praise EPoX for the great mobo. Cheerz.

Comment: This Board has great performance for ss7 processors and with a simple k6 350Mhz and a creative tnt2 ultra it supports the most actual games in market. Anyone can tell me if has this board with a k6-2 550Mhz an if it works fine? Thaks

Comment: I was here a while back and read people saying that this particular motherboard had a faulty usb port. I just wanted to confirm if this was the case or not. As at the time I was trying to install a usb web cam device but it never worked properly. Just recently I found on the internet a patch for windows 98se that fixes problems with people running amd K6-2 or higher cpus on there computers and are having USB device problems. Seems to have cleared up all my USB problem I had. Everything seems to be working fine now. Greg

On 25-Jun-00, S. Buckheiser left the following
Comment: Been running this MB for quite some time with absolutely no problems. I ran a AMD K6-2-350 @400, a K6-2-450 @500 and a K6-2-550 @560 with 112 MHz FBS. Had a bit of a cooling problem with the 550 so run it at 2.2 volts and use "rain" to hold it at around 34 to 37 degrees, also have a Global Win heatsink and fan on it.

Comment: Has anyone tried the AMD K6-2 550 with this board? Is it stable? Any other problems? I was hoping to upgrade the processor (currently K6-2 350MHz) and since they are so cheap I thought I'd go for broke!!!

On 22-Apr-00, Goolag left the following
